500 error cache

Hello,

Is anyone taking a look at my http://support.themeburn.com/topic/add-new-language-and-currency-error ticket? i am the lat on writing in it multiple times like 2 weeks ago. I understand that there is a queue ticketing system but i think 2 weeks response is a long time on anyone’s standards.

Here is a printscreen of the error i got ( it is not saying alot but i have no idea ho to solve this), clients are more and more unhappy and this cannot continue like this anymore.

i disabled the cache for now to see if it is indeed cache related.

seems that without cache i cannot get rid of the error using another device… any thoughts?

I have found a way to kind of replicate this. If you add a product in the basket and after try to add a second one, eg: if you try to search for a product code after adding the first in your basket ( so you already have a product in the basket) than you will get the 500 page for a page that was working before. So it may be related to the basket or just this is the way i replicated it … anyway please take a look on it as you have the credentials there as my shop is in a critical state for days… can anyone please answer to any of my ticket?!

The error is:

i have commented out

if (!$also_bought_product_ids = $this->engine->getCacheVar($cache_key)) {
$also_bought_product_ids = $this->getModel(‘products’)->getAlsoBoughtProductIds($product_ids, $options);
$this->engine->setCacheVar($cache_key, $also_bought_product_ids, 240*60);
}

and now it works… so it is indeed cache related. :)
