Hi,

After performing various tests with your module stories (blog) We concluded that the management is very different from the usual management of a blog, even it is somewhat confusing. We obtained the following blog extension (free) the next link:

http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route=extension/extension/info&extension_id=18315&filter_search=simple%20blog

We have analyzed and tested in default opencart theme with a very satisfactory result. The management is very intuitive and familiar to both opencart and for the management of a common blog. The language manages perfectly, categories, recent publications, related articles …

It would be very important that it can be adapted to your theme, if only it were the css so we can have a more advanced blog module stories that we still need more development and we trust that any major update will come.

We hope your news.

Best regards,

Toni

Hello Toni,

Can you tell us please, what problems have you met, while using our blog module?

We’ve checked the extension you have pointed and it doesn’t seem to be very different from this that we’ve provided with Pavilion. In fact the only things that we miss are the authors and article related products.

We can adapt Simple Blog, but this could happen January, as we have a lot of important changes being developed in the moment.

Hi,

The main problem is the lack of documentation Stories module and differences conceptually with existing blogs. For example, the categories in your module are labels …

Another problem I was having was related languages, so changing language followed by an activated publication, just giving a 404 error.

It would be interesting tubiera Stories structure or similar tags to blogs that we all know as wordpress (categories, publications …)

If you do not have to be so, and because of the lack of documentation, I can not offer my clients a module that performs the functions of blog and hard to understand at first sight operation.

If it is possible to adapt the module Simple Blog them would be very grateful.

Best regards,

Toni
