Hi there,
I’m trying to apply Arabic language. I followed the doc advice here:
- Arabic opencart is installed.
- Ar/En languages are enabled in the website. So when i switch the language, i got the right direction, and opencart language is Arabic.
- To translate the theme language i followed the documentation : http://support.themeburn.com/topic/add-new-language
So the file i have translated is /catalog/language/ar-sa/BurnEngine/theme.lang.php
Actually it’s not mentioned if i should change the folder name of “en-gb”. I tried changing to “ar-sa”, “ar-gb”, “en-gb” but all are not working.
So can you please advice what is the problem?

And by the way, once i finished translation i will send to you so you can include in the bundle

I found the solution.. i make the file name: ar
And it works fine.

Hi,
You don’t need to change the English language folder. You only need to rename the new language folder to match the directory name value of the new language record (or whatever text you want for OC 2.2+).
We would be grateful, if you share your theme translation, so we can add it in the theme package for future versions
