Hi there

Writing to you as I’ve got lots of problems with bandwidth usage on my website and my web developer told me that the best way is to contact you and ask if you can help me as he thinks that the theme causes the issues.

He also asked me to provide you with a link https://stackoverflow.com/questions/49234604/large-trafic-by-empty-user-agent?noredirect=1#comment85501576_49234604
and a print scrin Screenshot_1 (please find attached)

Hope you are able to solve this as I struggle a lot from that

Thank you

Kind regards

Yura

Hi,
I just recently bought the Technopolis OpenCart Theme and my webmaster asks me about its structure. Like how exactly to change the files with its CMS?
He asks about hierarchy table (dont know if its right to say so)

He also says that it does not have a cross-browser. Does it really have it?

Thanks

Kind regards

Yura

Hi Yura,

1) Why does your webmaster want to change any files? What exactly does he want to change? Technopolis (BurnEngine) is a complex product and we cannot just provide a “structure table”. It would be easier to answer specific questions.

2) Technopolis supports all modern desktop and mobile browsers – IE 11 / Edge / Chrome / Firefox / Safari / Opera / iOS Safari, Chrome for Android, UC Browser. If you have any specific problem on a specific browser, please let us know.

Hi

I’ve got a problem with my webdesigner. I gave him my theme to instal it to my domain name. But he did not finish his job and now my technopolis theme is connected with his private domain name. As I know I can use only one domain name, in this case could you please disengage his domain (https://tcptp.cc.ua/) so that I can use it for my own one?

Thanks

Hi,

Do not worry, you can install Technopolis on another domain.

Hi,

can you provide a link to your site ? Also do the ‘empty user agent’ requests have identical contents (i.e. same css path) or are they different ?

I see the main css is inlined in the source code. Did you do this manually or this is result from some automated processing (plugin or server extension) ?

This is result from theme plugin

Hi, we inspected your site and we didn’t see any invalid requests from client side. As said above, you are inlining the main css direct in the html body. You said this is achieved through a third party plugin. Is there any chance this plugin makes invalid requests to non existing css files which generate the large logs ? Can you please disable this plugin in order to see if this issue gets resolved. We haven’t experienced it on other sites, so we assume it is due to some modifications which are not shipped with the theme.

Hi

Huge traffic is generated by requests with an empty user agent.
Analyzed the statistics, all these requests relate to the cached style files. The size of the response data for each of these requests is the same.
http://prntscr.com/j46xn2

Found in the code where these requests are created
http://prntscr.com/j46yl0

I looked through the response headers, and yes, these functions create this traffic, which can also be seen in the response headers, the data size is the same.
http://prntscr.com/j46zmy

Would you suggest me in this case???
