Best practice of Disaster Recovery

How do I have to make a system backup of my shop Pavilion Shop Theme. Does the backup consist only of the export which I can do under Export in the Pavilion Stylish Control Panel or do I still need to do additional database exports?

My disaster recovery strategy currently looks like this:

Backup:
1. Backup the opencart database completely.
2. Completely backup the folder of shop and shop storage.
3. Export from Pavilion

Recovery:
1. Restore folder from shop and shop storage.
2. Restore Opencart database.
3. Import from Pavilion.

Would this backup strategy restore the system or would there be other issues to consider?

Thanks in advence and kind regards.

Hi,

Unless you change the server / your store location (e.g. from localhost to production) and you have images inside Page Builder you don’t need to import theme settings separately – they are stored in the database. You won’t loose too much time to export the Pavilion settings though :)
