Blog setup

This topic has been marked as resolved.

Hello,

I have trouble setting up blog (stories) on my website. I know how to create an article, but I do not know how to make a blog button next to my Categories and I do not know how to link this blog button to articles.

I would very much appreciate if someone could put step by step instructions on how to set it up (creating a blog button and making it work).

My web site is fotokiosk.rs

Hi Vladimiros,

1) Go to Pavilion CP > Theme Settings > Store > Menu.

2) From the “Add menu” block, select the “System” tab and scroll to the bottom to find the “Articles Listing” menu. This is the blog page.

Hello again.

I have done the steps you suggested and the blog doesn’t appear. Actually, nothing changes. Can you, please, check my CP and tell me how can I resolve this issue?

Thanks in advance

Hi Vladimiros,

We will need the website admin access, so we can check.

You can use hidepost to share private information with the support staff.

Hi,

You had to disable the default menu code from Pavilion CP > Theme Settings > System > Compatibility. We’ve done this for you and now everything should work fine.

Can you tell me how to rename the category blog on the mail page. I can rename the blog page once you enter the blog articles but I do not know how to rename the blog category on the main page.

Help please?

Hi Vladimiros,

There was a problem to show SEO url for the blog page. You need to update to the latest Pavilion version. Here is more info about the process:
