Hello

I’ve been using Pavilion for my opencart shop with no problems for almost a year now.

But just recently I cannot access the Pavilion Control Panel anymore (see screenshots).

What if I uninstall and reinstall, will I lose all of my store settings/customization?

Any help much appreciated.

Best wishes

John

The latest version of the theme is available for download from your themeforest account. You just need to upgrade.

Ok thanks.

Do I need to upgrade Opencart before uploading the latest version of Pavilion? As I have made a lot of customizations to my Opencart and I cant update Opencart. I’m currently running version 2.0.1.1

Also, will updating Pavilion wipe all my current theme settings?

Hi John,

You don’t need to update OpenCart. And BurnEngine upgrade does not wipe your theme settings.

However, it is always a good practice to have a database and file backup just for a case.

Hello

For some reason my purchase of Pavilion theme isn’t showing in my downloads area?

I have the Paypal receipt from when I first purchased it on 11/05/15.

I have attached the receipt for reference.

Thanks for your help

Hi John,

Unfortunately we cannot help you with the missing theme from the “Downloads” section in ThemeForest. You should write to Envato support staff. If you provide a valid email, we could send you the latest theme package.

Hi John,

We’ve sent you a download link. Have in mind that it would be best if you could arrange this problem with ThemeForest support staff, as we are updating our items on a regular basis.

Hello,

I’ve received the files thankyou.

I am a little confused as I don’t think I installed this new thing called ‘BurnEngine’ when I first installed my Pavillion Theme.

Do I install BurnEngine first and then re-install the Pavillion theme? If I do this will my store lose its customized settings and I’ll have to start from scratch?

Or do I simply just re-copy the Pavillion theme files onto my server overwriting the old ones? And will this keep my store settings as they are?

I don’t want to have to redesign my whole store after I upgrade.

Thanks for your help

Hello John,

BurnEngine is the new platform that is used as a foundation for all our themes. This will allow us to easier update all our products.

Once you’ve copied the new BurnEngine files on your server, you will have to:

1) Install BurnEngine module

2) Import Pavilion settings to BurnEngine

3) Delete old Pavilion files

Step 2 and 3 should be done automatically (after you click on a button), after you install BurnEngine.

Unfortunately even after theme settings migration, there may be some missing data that you need to restore manually.

What we could recommend is to clone your website and try to do the upgrade there. After you have migrated all information, you will be able to upgrade (replace the running store).

Thanks for your detailed reply – its much apreciated.

As I am happy with my current version of Pavilion and have no real need to use ThemeBurn can I simply just copy Pavilion theme files to my server to fix the problem I am currently having?

Hello John,

BurnEngine is the future of Pavilion and all other themes. Older Pavilion branch (1.x) will not be developed anymore.

We could take a look at your current installation to see what is causing the infinite loading, but if you have problems with your current installation you should update sooner or later.

We will need the website url, admin and ftp access, so we can check.

You can use hidepost to share private information with the support staff.
