This topic has been marked as not resolved.
I am using the Pavilion Theme on an Opencart 2.0 website. I cannot workout why but my product pages will not pick up any changes I make through Pavilion CP, all other pages work fine i.e Homepage, Category page.. I change them in the Pavilion CP > Theme Options and the changes appear on the front of the site. But product pages will not change no matter what I do in Pavilion CP. I have inspected the source code and it looks like it is not recognising it is a product page, what I mean by this is on other pages it picks up in the div id what page type it should be. I can see from other themes the starting code for product pages should look like this: But instead on the one I am having problems with it appears like this: So it thinks my product page is a system page and I can’t seem to workout how to change this. Please advise and let me know what details you need to help with this problem. James |

Hi ThemeBurn I have tried changing the product pages the way you suggest but when I change the layout/content of the Product page in Theme Settings > Page builder > Area > Layout > Product it has no affect on the front end of the site. This only happens for products. If I change Home/Categories etc it works fine but there seems to be a problem specifically with product pages not using the right template. Kind Regards, James |

Hi James, Can you be more specific, what exactly you want to change, e.g. site background, colors, fonts or something else? We will be able to give exact steps. Thanks, |

Hi, Ok, when I edit the product pages through the backend, I am trying to add related products to the products page but they do not show up on the front end. It doesn’t matter what I try to add/change/remove whether it be font colours/sizes or widgets it doesn’t work show up on the front end of the site. It is because the product pages are not using the correct page templates I don’t know why this has happened but they are using system pages instead of product page templates. If I set up a new product then it works fine, picks up the correct page template and I can see the changes but for existing products the changes don’t work. It is not caching or anything like that as I’ve disabled caching and cleared my cache. The product pages that don’t work seem to be using a System page template instead of Product page template. Is there a way to correct the existing product pages without setting up the products again. Kind Regards, James |

Hi, We haven’t checked all your products but: 1) Related products needs to be set manually for each product 2) All the products we’ve checked have a layout override (check the Design tab when you edit a product). You need to remove this layout override. Here is a product with attached related products and the default Product layout: http://www.your-website.co.uk/10.3_white_UN_bucket_and_lid BR, |
