categories issues

This topic has been marked as not resolved.

Hi…

First, I am so happy to see that this forum has started…should make it much easier to find information which has been posted.

One question…will previous postings be added to the forum at some point?  There is so much great info in those postings and responses, but it’s virtually impossible to sift through nearly 50 pages looking for something which might address your issue.  It would be great if those could be added to this forum or in some way be made searchable.

Anyway, I’m having a couple of issues with categories.

1.  my categories list at the top is getting too long and overlapping with other material at the top of the page…is there any way to make two lines or categories?  or make the font a smaller size?  or in some other way deal with that issue?

2.  when I place categories in the footer they are not showing as linking…just text which cannot be clicked on/linked.  I assume they should be links.  Am I wrong?

my site is http://www.lionslairstainedglass.com/store

However, you will not currently see either problem, because I’ve changed both of them so the problem isn’t showing up.

Thanks

Hi,

We are now posting the most common and asked question in the Shoppica “How to” subforum. We will constantly be adding new threads there, so hopefully a nice knowledge base will be built.

You will need to register in order to post topics and read replies in the ThemeBurn.com support forums!

This should do the job.

Best regards,

Hi,

I’m having the same problem with the categories drop-down on top. I have a lot of categories and subcategories, and the top-level one are overlapping with the CART VALUE on the top right. I don’t want to redo all my categories. Is there a way to double the height of the menu area and have two lines?

Thanks

hi, Hartford,

Nice site you got, may I know how did you create |Advanced search|?

@nightcat – Advanced search is just a link to the default search. This link was available in opencart 1.4.9.x only and is removed in 1.5.x versions. It just leads to an empty search results page.
