Change background pattern

How do I change the background pattern throughout the site?
This is the default pattern image: image/catalog/sample_data/patterns/1.png
I would like to use a different pattern or change to a background image.
I tried with Pavilion CP > Theme Settings > Background > Global but that did not work.

Hi,

For the default theme we’ve applied the pattern for the Wrapper section. You can change/remove it from Pavilion CP > Theme Settings > Style > Wrapper > Background

We’ve done it this way to have white background under the footer for shorter pages.
