If there was a step to installation required to make this functional then I did not see it in the instructions.

Colors revert after changing using Color Schema

If I don’t have to edit the code to change colors, that’s nice, but it doesn’t work…..

NO, I am not giving you FTP. Please leave a solution here instead of asking for more info, and then I have to wait 2 more days.

Steps to reproduce:

Install on my server using your provided installation instructions.

I did not modify any permissions. I am on a dedicated server with suPHP.

I click on color, I see it switch to “custom”, I select an change, it appears to change, I press save, it reverts.

Please help ASAP so I don’t have to return this template.

Also, if a new version comes out within a month, I certainly hope you send me a copy cause I just bought the current one less than a week ago.

Hi!

1) With more than 2500 sales of Shoppica and no such complaint until now, your problem should be a specific one. As you have shared almost no information, we can’t be of any help here, since we don’t have a crystal ball at our disposal right now :)

YES, we will need ftp access to provide assistance.

2) You can download any future upgrades of Shoppica from your ThemeForest account.

ThemeBurn team

I also need to whitelist your IP as the site is restricted to be viewed by certain IPs only via htaccess

As stated here, you should provide us with information about the custom modifications you have made to opencart. There are major ones in your site, and the one that conflicts with shoppica (and with any other plugin that uses the opencart cache) is the custom cache class you have replaced the default one with – system/library/cache.php.

This should fix your problem with saving the colors.

Excellent, that did fix my problem. I’m sorry I didn’t provide proper information.

Could you give me a quote for the modification to make that work with the plugin? If you need the plugin code let me know. I will also ask the DB Raf Cache developer.

Thanks!

Right now we don’t have time for custom modifications, as we are quite busy with Shoppica2. The solution with disabling the Shoppica cache is fine – the performance impact is insignificant.

Best,
ThemeBurn team
