Combining Checkout Steps

Is there an easy way to combine checkout steps? My store has only one payment and delivery method, so it doesn’t make much sense to have two separate steps dedicated to selecting one option that is pre-selected. For this reason, I hope to create this:

Step 1: Checkout Options
Step 2: Billing Details
Step 3: Delivery Details (If it differs from billing details)
Step 4: Confirm Payment & Shipping

Step 4 would then contain:

- Cart preview
- Shipping Method
- Payment Method
- Credit Card Details
- Add Comments
- Confirm

I’ve also attached an image to show what it is that I hope to achieve.

Basically, I only want four collapsing menus. It doesn’t make sense for me to have so many menus. Is there an easy way to accomplish this?

Hi,

Checkout is one of the things in OpenCart, that is not an easy job to edit.

You will need a help from OpenCart developer, or take some extension that manipulates the checkout. Here are two extensions that may help you:

Just to warn you, we haven’t tested them and don’t know how easy they will integrate with Shoppica.
