Good morning!
I host 19 sites built with various versions of OC2, Pavilion and BurnEngine. I recently move all these from one reseller hosting setup to another and since then I have a very weird problem with the Pavilion sites…
If I add something to the cart, the view the cart and either enter a coupon code (or press the Apply Coupon button without a code in the box) then the contents of the cart are cleared (along with the session cookie actually).
I’ve cleared the cache on the sites and resaved the settings, but nothing is working? Any suggestions would be very much appreciated!
Best,
Paul

Hi,
We will need the websites url, admin and ftp access, so we can check.
You can use hidepost to share private information with the support staff.

Here you go guys Thanks in advance…

Any update on this guys? I’ve got clients losing business because their customers can’t enter coupon codes…

Hi,
This problem was caused by a missing image (loading spinner) called on coupon code check. We’ve updated your template and now everything is OK.
P.S. We see you are using a really old Pavilion version and would recommend you to update to a more recent one.

Thank you! Can you go through exactly what you did to fix it, so I can then do the same thing on all the other sites please? Not fair to ask you to fix the same problem on 19 sites for me!
I did actually try to upgrade the old Pavilion theme installs to BurnEngine, but it failed really badly – the site so badly messed up that I had to restore it from a backup! What’s the easiest/recommended way to do an update so I can try it again on one of the less busy sites?

Hi,
1) If you are using the same OC/Pavilion version everywhere, you need to copy the coupon code template:
catalog/view/theme/pavilion/template/checkout/coupon.tpl
2) Unfortunately there is no easy way to transfer your design from Pavilion 1 to 2 (BurnEngine). There is an upgrade option, but not all option can be correctly transferred and you may need to rebuild some settings manually.

That did the job nicely – thank you! All sites are now patched, and I’m hoping to find time to upgrade them all to BE before Christmas :p

Glad we’ve helped, Paul
By the way, if you are happy with Pavilion and haven’t rate it yet, we will be grateful if you do!
