Custom Page – OfferZone and Coupons

I need to create a custom page [lets name it as "OfferZone"] for now:

  1. First Row: Show banners on one side and categories in the second column. The categories would be Promotions, Offers and Discounts. Thus all products with tagged to these categories can be viewed from this new custom Page
  2. Second/Third and Fourth Row: There will be row with some more banners (one column) and when user clicks on these banners, it will link to a particular URL that we would specify
  3. the page would be linked to three buttons we have on our home page or on our Footer which is consistent across most pages – Promotions, Offers and Discounts. Thus when anyone clicks on these Links, he would be taken to the OfferZone page created under #1.

Please help us how to create this page – including how to route the Links to OfferZone page from various other pages.

Hi,

1) Create an information page from Admin > Catalog > Information.

2) Go to Page Builder > Content > Information page: YOUR NEW PAGE.

3) Use “Latest Products” blocks. They can show products for a specific category you choose.

4) You can easily take the link for a page from the store sitemap:

http://site.com/index.php?route=information/sitemap

I tried doing this and i narrowed category to two separate blocks – Offers and Promotions [these are two separate sub categories under category Offers and Promotions]. However the Latest block shows products under both sub categories in a single block. What is happening here?

#4 in your reply – can you elaborate what do you mean and how do I use the site map link provided. I am perhaps missing something here.

Lastly,, I wanted to showcase few coupons or banners on this page to showcase some catalog level schemes that we are runing for customers. These may need to display a line to state that Terms and Conditions apply, and when terms and conditions line is clicked, details terms of the offer should open up. How do I create this?

if you see the URL, the first two rows are same, however we have segregate and selected ‘narrow down to’ option as Offers for first row and promotions for second row. Offers has three products veg_test1 veg_test2 veg_test3

Likewise promotions has two products mapped as promotions: veg_test4 and veg_test5 and both these rows should look different.

#5 – Coupon terms and conditions: see the same URL and coupon section. IT looks really long if we populate all terms and conditions here. we rather intend to populate smaller boxes here with much better look and feel and when customer clicks on the anchor text within the box, the Terms and Conditions page should open up. How do we achieve this?

Hi

3) You will have to update your installation, as this has been fixed with newer releases

5) Unfortunately, there is no such feature in Pavilion for the moment. You will have to use some third party mod.

#3: can you kindly let us know which files to copy over for this purposes – we do not want to copy over entire installation to avoid over ride of some of our settings and customization.
