custom product page

Hello,

A newbie question. How do I go about creating a custom product page in Pavilion v1.2.5 ? I have looked at and played with Theme Settings/Product page (which seems to allow for 4 different designs but offers nothing to select which one) as well as Page Builder/Content/Layout/Product,Product*Layout2,Product*Layout3, to no avail.

I have read the doc on Custom product page on TB support website but it only scratches the surface.

I’m sure it can’t be that difficult but I’m clueless as to where to start. For the context, I’d like a 3-column design with product image | tabs/accordion | check out cart, stock availability etc similar to the default except for the middle column.

Hi Waif,

The four designs for the product page change the position of the elements in the “Page Content” block only (check the attached screenshots). You can add additional Page Builder blocks if you want.

1) In Theme Settings > Store > Product page, you need to choose:
- Page design – the one that suits you more
- Layout – Product
- Column ratio – the one that suits you more

2) In Page Builder > Content / Right / Left sidebar > Layout: Product, you can change layout and add additional content

P.S. Have in mind that there are no built-in cart module and availability module.

Thank you for explaining the steps. A further question: how does one control the product image in the Page Content ? Tried to change column ratio but this seems to have no effect whatsoever.

Thanks for the steps. It works.

I totally agree that having a drop-down for the Layout and select Product on what is already a Product page is total confusion, and never mind that ‘Add layout’ which is a source of further confusion.

Hi TB Support. Sorry to hijack this but I’ve been trying to get some help on this matter in the forum for weeks. How can we get the product description/review etc block to sit just above the product options? We have products with many options and this means the description gets pushed well below the fold. I have attached a screenshot of our intentions.
