Custom slideshow

Hi!

I want to resize the custom image slideshow on the front end.
Instead of one big picture, I want a smaller one, still 360 px high, but with banners on the right!

If I change this, will the other slideshow images in the categories, products etcetera change size?
I just want to change the front end!
