Hi Guys,

This is what I want to achieve.
My default colour setting for the shop listings is green.
Here is an example -

As you can see the – price, add to cart button, write a review button are all green.

Now I have created a category –

I want to use orange as my colour here.
Products listed in this category are orange, please refer to the following link

However this is where my problem arises.
I have created subcategories 1 and subcategories 2 where I want to add products, they do not work, I am unable to list them in orange.

How do I fix this?

Thanks
Tony

P.S. If you need my login details let me know.

Hi,

You need to:

1) Create a new layout from Admin > System > Design > Layouts and name it Product* Orange. You don’t need to add any routes to it.

2) Set a layout override for each of your custom products from Admin > Products > Edit product > Design tab

3) Set a design style for the new layout in Theme Settings > Store > Product page.

Perfect! Thank you very much!

How do I customise a Brand Colour is that possible?
I want to customise the colour of my “Stihl” manufacturer to the same orange I am using in it’s category.

How do I do this?

Thanks
Tony

Hi Tony,

Unfortunately, you cannot do this for individual manufacturers. It is a OC limitation.
