Different Layouts for Mobile/Tablet and Desktop

Hi Support,

is it possible to have one page use different layouts (e.g. the home page), which can be controlled via Opencart layout? So desktop will have one style setting (block elements, position of blocks), mobile another one with different re-arrangement?

Hi Axanne,

You mean to have a dedicated site version for each device and not responsive design?

Generally you can achieve this with multi store. You can create a mobile version multi-store and set some checks for screen resolution and redirect to the correct store.

Thanks for the reply.

Different stores would create a headache with a lot of other Opencart functionalities and products. So that would not be an option for me.

Are there other solutions?

Hi,

Unfortunately there is no other way to serve different content besides multi stores.
