Disable Ajax Add to Cart

Is there a way that we can disable Add to Cart Ajax? Here’s the issue when you go click add to cart, the mini shopping bag on the top right does not reflect it and appears blank. We did some custom changes with Trendo – how do we do an upgrade without scrapping out all the work we have done so far? Or can you just let us know where we can fix this?	roninstudio
