Error in functions.php on line 44 after 1.5 upgrade

ThemeBurn SupportForumsWordPress ThemesShoppica WordPress ThemeError in functions.php on line 44 after 1.5 upgrade

This topic has been marked as not resolved.

Hello,

I have just tried to upgrade from 1.3 to 1.5 because I was getting issues with both WordPress v4.0 and the LayerSlider, also because I want to upgrade WooCommerce.

When I transferred the new files via FTP, I get the error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function WC() in /path/up/to/wp-content/themes/shoppica/functions.php on line 44

I am using a child theme.

I hope you can help.

Damien

Hello,

Which version of Woocommerce you are using?

Because this error exist if you are using very old version of the Woocommerce plugin.

Hey guys

Since upgrading, there are a few things causing an issue which I would imagine are down to amendments in the theme I had made without a Child theme which I am working through now.

But one you might be able to help with is the Products Page. It is currently showing 6 items per row even though I have the Theme Options set to display only 3 items.

Is there any reason for this?

Cheers

Hey guys,

I have also noticed that the Layer Slider seems to be missing a lot of style options from the Style tab for each individual slide.

I noticed that you hope to release the latest version of the Layer Slider with Shoppica 2.0. Do you have a proposed date for this release because not being able to style the slides on the Layer Slider defeats the purpose of it really.

I hope you can help

Hi,

Sorry about the delay but we are very busy developing Shoppica 2.0.

We cant give date, but everything is okay we will release it by the end of this month or in beginning of next month.

We will need the website url and admin access, so we can check about procuts page.

You can use hidepost to share private information with the support staff.

Hello,

You hide the products and showed only the categories and this is why you get 6 per row and no hover effect.

We have change this and now everything looks fine.

Hi,

Thanks for looking into this but unfortunately, it is not the way it had been.

What was happening was when the user clicked onto a category from the homepage, they were taken to a list of child categories which used the same effect as the shop. Then, those child categories would lead to the products.

If you go to the homepage, then click on Accessories, all the child categories are now just sitting at the top of the page still without the hover over effect, whereas before they were laid out similar to the products.

Hopefully you can figure out what has happened with it.

Thanks again

Damien

Hello,

Child categories never had Hover effect, only products have Hover effect.

We cant understand what you want to do exactly.
