Errors & Issues when installing with SHOPPICA 2

ThemeBurn SupportForumsOpenCart ThemesPavilion OpenCart ThemeErrors & Issues when installing with SHOPPICA 2

This topic has been marked as not resolved.

We are getting a lot of errors on our Multistore that currently has (or had) Shopicca installed. There were no known errors.

1)
After installing Pavillion, we are getting errors on every store using Shoppica, stating that Shoppica isn’t installed.
- Can the 2 themes be installed together?

2)
Pavillion will not work now either!
The interface comes up, the demo data won’t install – and it will not save any settings (it just hangs with the ‘saving’ wheel).

When trying to use live preview or any button that actually does anything in Pavillion, it hangs.

We are also getting this error up the top:
Notice: Use of undefined constant HTTPS_CATALOG – assumed ‘HTTPS_CATALOG’ in /home1/bonzabuy/public_html/buy/tb_themes/pavilion/library/Context.php on line 55

Can anyone point us in the right direction?

- Adam

Now when trying to uninstall Pavillion I get the below error:

Notice: Use of undefined constant HTTPS_CATALOG – assumed ‘HTTPS_CATALOG’ in /home1/bonzabuy/public_html/buy/tb_themes/pavilion/library/Context.php on line 55Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home1/bonzabuy/public_html/buy/admin/index.php:85) in /home1/bonzabuy/public_html/buy/vqmod/vqcache/vq2-system_engine_controller.php on line 33Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home1/bonzabuy/public_html/buy/admin/index.php:85) in /home1/bonzabuy/public_html/buy/vqmod/vqcache/vq2-system_engine_controller.php on line 34

UPDATE 1:
We re-downloaded the files from TB and re-installed which has removed all the errors.

All stores with Shoppica theme still not working.

UPDATE 2:

Although we have no error messages we have the following faults which is making Pavillion unusable:

- When trying to install the demo data, Pavillion hangs. I have to close the tab, log into OP again and start over.

- When trying to use ‘live preview’ Pavillion hangs. Live preview does not work at all for us.

- Sometimes when hitting ‘save settings’ Pavillion hangs.

In all cases ‘hanging’ is the theme loading (spinning) graphic.

Shoppica themes still do not work.

Can any one help?

We have tested Shoppica and Pavilion together, but is seems that you have some conditions that are not tested by us, which cause incompatibilities.

We would need to investigate what’s going on, so We’ll need the website url, admin and ftp access, so we can check.

You can use hidepost to share private information with the support staff.

Hi,

is there something wrong with the admin panel ? It looks scrambled and we are unable to login (tried different browsers). The resources (styles, scripts) do not load. See attached screenshot.

Hi – I actually thought you guys had deleted everything?

Anyway the config file for admin was screwed up = fixed now. Please advise when finished.

I think we’re finished. It seems Shoppica2 and Pavilion do work together now. Can you confirm ?

Hi – the themes are both operational, though we have noticed two possible errors with the first 1 minute trial so there may be a lot more.

Shoppica: with the theme set to grid and large photos, the photos are not scaled correctly

Pavillion: THe Payment images do not sort correctly (i.e. in the order they are positioned in admin panel).
Is this a separate issue or is it indicating the admin panel is still not working correctly.

Lastly: What have you changed as we need to back up though would prefer not to back up the whole site. Also there are about to be some changes for a 3rd party payment gateway so we need to know which files are changed. Thank you.

The problem seems to be with the admin for Pavillion still not saving correctly:

1) We have been unable to install the stylish skin or sample data. We will try again shortly, though wanted to update you as soon as possible).

2) When using a multistore, the editing of the page content areas seems to save, but it does not update in the theme completely. i.e.. When we change the Facebook stack to match our Facebook URL in the Facebook options () it still shows Theme burns FB data.
This is true of a number of the columns and rows for this area (we haven’t tested any other areas).

3) When copying the footer information to another store (multistore) not all of it copies.
For instance, we have 3 rows in the footer, the first has three columns, the left hand two columns come up as blank in the other store after copying.

Another error while trying to add a new store.

With Pavillion we STILL can’t load the demo data after adding this new store. We would like to use the one of the skins and see how the demo site is structured but can not.

@ploth – we will investigate these issues. We want to note however, that you cannot import a Pavilon skin just for one store. The skin import alters the database for all of the stores and it should be used on fresh installations only (as stated in the docs), preferably not multistore.

On multistore you should use the ‘existing store’ option and it will import the styling settings only (no demo pages and block structure).

We have not been able to install the demo at all. It seems that the problems early on have fooled the TB theme ito thinking we have installed the data – but it hasn’t. Yes we tried to install the ‘existing store’ option.

Is there a way to undo this? We would like to see how the styling is achieved for the Stylish theme – in particular the phone numbers etc in Contact us don’t seem to be just a text block…

Another bug in our installation (we have some with the Facebook and text blocks too – started a separate thread for those).

In the payment images section for the general theme settings the ‘add image’ button does not work, nor does the update settings button. We can not add payment images to the site.

thank you

HI again.

We see that your you have took advantage of the opencart’s ‘multistore’ option. So, to be clear again – you cannot import demo store on a live site, without loosing half of the information.

When you use the ‘existing store’ option Paivlion does not import any site’s structure, but styles only (colors, fonts, shadows etc.). So you can’t actually replicate the ‘Stylish’ skin demo data (phone numbers etc.), but its colors and fonts only.

In order to do a full skin replication, you have to choose ‘demo store’ option when importing. You could try this on a fresh installation in a subfolder for example. You could examine the stylish structure there.

We can’t reproduce the payment images issue you mention. The add images button works for us. IT seems that you have added some images yourself. Is this issue still valid ?

Yes this is still current. We installed a new multistore just to check the styling and options of the Stylish theme. There were no products so it didn’t matter. But nothing worked. We could not import a full demo on the multi store nor an ‘existing store’ demo where the styles were imported from the test. Nothing worked.

We have a number of questions about how to get some of the elements the same for the Stylish theme – which is why we wanted to install the demo ‘skin’.

ADDING PAYMENT IMAGES:
I don’t know why you say there are images – there wasn’t until I wrote this response. The site is

Adding payment images is still not working correctly – we can now add images (thank you). However, when we change the order of the images, it makes no difference. The original Image # stays the same and the order of the images can only be changed by starting from scratch with the image uploads. I haven’t confirmed this yet as we are getting tired of spending so much time to find a plethora of bugs at every corner.

We still have a number of other bugs in another thread unanswered too.
