Hi do all extensions work with Shoppica 2 now? or is it just certain ones at the moment

Also how hard would it be to change your Carousel / Slideshow to show on the right hand side of the page?

Hi Aaron,

Unfortunately, extension compatibility is one of the Shoppica disadvantages. There is no problem to use admin modifications, or modules, but when it comes to something that changes the frontend markup, you will have to adapt it to Shoppica.

We plan to start adding compatibility to the most popular OpenCart extensions, however. We will make a forum, where everybody could suggest some popular extension and we will try our best to make it Shoppica ready.

We can’t understand your Carousel / Slideshow question well. Could you provide a screenshot with exactly what you want to change?

Hi what i mean is, is there a way to add your carousel or slideshow to the “Right Position”

for example in opencart there is Postions Top, Bottom, Left and Right and i would like to show it on the right? but i dont seen an option to do this as the width etc of yours is 2 big i would of thought. Just i think if you added something like this in the near future future that would be good.

Also another thing i know i should poast a new topic for this but how can i change the menu with wishlist etc in and everything that has a white background? as if i change it then the ARROW for the menu disappears.

Thanks
Aaron

Hi,

1) The idea with our slideshow was to stay always at the top of the page. That is why, we’ve called the module “Intro”. There is already a default Slideshow module, which can slide custom images at any positions and we didn’t want to make duplicate modules.

2) You would better open a new topic about this matter, indeed :)
