Hello,
I’m using OC 1.5.1.1 and Shoppica 1.0.8
Facing an error in the sorting of products “Price (Low > High)” when user clicks on brand from top-menu of any category.
Basically, the path reads:
http://www.OURWEBSITENAME.com/index.php?route=product/shoppica&man_id=17&sort=p.price&order=ASC&c_path=107107
instead it should read:
http://www.OURWEBSITENAME.com/index.php?route=product/shoppica&man_id=17&sort=p.price&order=ASC&c_path=107
Please advise on what code to correct and in which files to rectify this error.
The Sort “Price (High>Low)” and other sort options work fine for all brand selections.

Sorry my bad…I’ve been using Shoppica 1.0.9 (the one released in August 2011).
I tried out the fix but the problem did not go away. Instead, the menu choices are not visible now (it shows a line besides “Sort by” now in the place where the “Default” drop-down was previously visible).
Any idea if the code changes are different for 1.0.9?

I’m now getting this fatal error when trying to sort by Low>High price for the brands:
“Fatal error: Call to a member function rewrite() on a non-object in /home/vsahita/public_html/sabsebest.com/catalog/controller/product/shoppica.php on line 328″

Did as advised, I can now see the double category_id but before you pointed it out, for the life of me, I couldn’t find it.

Well, we will submit the 1.5.1.3 compatibility first and then finish the new features.
We plan adding custom logo for the admin and some other small settings for the front
