Fire Slider Image Dimensions Skewed

On the site below, I have created a slider with dimensions 1000×540 and used images of exactly that size. However, when the browser is open full to let the site go full size, the slides appear as 1200×500. This happens whether I use auto scale or not. I’ve played around a bit with settings but nothing seems to display quite the size it is supposed to.

I used sizes close to those in most of the demo sliders to make it fit right. However, it seems like it should be 1200px wide, and not 1000. Then again, when I did that I didn’t get the result I expected either (the height was larger). So I’m wondering what I am missing, and how I can size images so they will display as I expect them. It appears that needs to be 1200×540, however that can be done.

I’m also wondering how to change the color of the little dots at the bottom that show which slide it’s on :) Thanks.

I’ve managed to settle this to my satisfaction. I’m still not sure why the demo slides use widths of 1000px when they need to be 1200px for a full fixed width template, but I think maybe when I was testing various sizes earlier it may have cached some of them and confused me. I’m using 1200px x 500px and that seems to work ok. Thanks.

Hi,

A fixed width slider will first use the set dimensions as an aspect ratio depending on the slider container’s width. Autoscale option is enables/disables the scaling of slide’s animated layers.

Color of the slider pagination (the dots) can be controlled from the Fire Slider block in Page Builder.
