Hi, am using Shoppica2 2.24 (great piece of kit) – on opencart Version 1.5.6.1 and I’ve instaalled the above xml file into vqmod and can’t get it to work. I’ve added in the free shipping extension for the default theme and that works fine – just wanted to see if it worked for the default version. Not sure what I’m doing wrong.

Hi – vqmod file that I’m attempting to use attached. Downloaded some other vqmod files for use with shoppica and they work fine (also included customer greeting vqmod which works in my version of shoppica2 so you have a reference for one that I’ve had success with using). Hope this is useful and what you need.

Yep, uploaded that one and couldn’t get it to work – I uploaded the one for the default theme and this works fine – not sure what i’m doing wrong here.

Hi – got it to work on the shopping cart area but also would like it to display at the checkout stage (step 4 – delivery method). It displays in both areas for the default theme. Any ideas?

Are you sure about the checkout page? We’ve taken a look at the original extension and there is no modification that affects the checkout page.
Do you have some kind of demo?

Hi there,
I too am using the same vqmod posted here:http://support.themeburn.com/topic/free-shipping-qualifier-interesting-extension-not-working-in-shoppica2
It works only when you visit the cart or checkout page.
Is there any way to actually see it happening in the animated “producted added to cart” popup message that happens at top right when you click anywhere on add to cart, so you would see the free qualifier stuff more easily.
I’ve tried to change some files but i can’t even find where this is happening…

Unfortunately, the extension is only made for these two pages and your request as a none trivial modification could not be covered by the free support offered by this forum. You may post your question in the official opencart forums, or seek a freelancer to do the job for you.

Thanks for the reply. I thought it would be a standard feature from the extension, since the original version actually does that in the default theme, it shows the info in the animated “popup”.
But i’ll try to sort this elsewhere and if i do have some reply, i’ll post it here. Thanks

This issue was also raised with us.
Here’s our solution. Unfortunately, the texts are in Hungarian language, but you can replace the vqmod file. We use one page checkout instead of default opencart checkout page, so the checkout modification is for simple checkout only. Hope this will help you.

Thank you very much! That’s great! I have tested yours and it does show the info when we hover in the cart amount at the top (menu), but it still does not show up in the animated “popup”.
Perhaps there’s some change in OC or shoppica. I’m using OC 1.5.6.4 and shoppica 2.2.4
But anyway, thank you!!
edit: ps, by the way, can you share which extension did you use for the simple checkout?

The animated “popup”:
This don’t work for you, because the vqmod change the hungarian language file. Change the hungarian language file path to english or your language, and find the correct value (the full row, where text_cart_add string is. The only problem on animated popup: On language file, I can get the ammount of free shipping value, but I can not get the subtotal value. I don’t know why, so, on the animated popup I can only write: “You need minimum x usd buy for free shipping.”, but I can not write: “You need more (freeshipping – current subtotal) spend for free shipping.”. So, this message allways constant now, and just write a simple advertise about free shipping.

It’s a very great extension, 100% compatible with Shoppica2, and have a great support.
