Getting the Intro in only the main page

Hi all.  I’ve been trying to get the intro image slideshow to appear only on the main page; but when I enter in any section of my shopping cart, the intro slideshow still is there.  I want just to have it on the main page, but not in the sections.

I tried to edit each section to have a ‘no intro’ option, but it doesn’t work.  Maybe it is because the ‘global’ is set to have the intro?  I don’t know, but I wish someone could help me on this.  Thank you.

Yes, I’ve seen that there is the “no intro” options in the cagetories, but it still shows when I enter them. Let me send you the credentials in a pm; thank you.

By the way, how do I do that?

Hi,

Are you sure, you have sent the correct details? Because we are getting a WordPress website…

I’m so sorry…the website is:

http://www.caninarua.com/tienda/admin/

Please accept my apologies about this…You should be able to enter there and see what is going on with the banner showing up in all sections of the menu links. Thank you and sorry!

Hi,

We see, that your Shoppica version is a little bit old. Perhaps, your OpenCart too.

We strongly recommend, that you upgrade at least Shoppica theme.

Well, my OpenCart installation es 1.5.1; The Shoppica version was the one available at the time I purchased it in ThemeForest.net

Question: if I update my shoppica theme, would it erase all the configurations I’ve done already to it(colors, intro images, etc.)???

No, you won’t erase them. They should stay.

Just for any case – make a backup before upgrading.

Hi again!

I did the upgrade, and now the intro is only in the first page and doesn’t show up in the categories. yay!

BUT, now something is happening:

- I installed the spanish language, and everything went out smoothly; but now when the administration language is in spanish, I get this error when I try to enter and see the extensions:

I used an advice of this link: http://themeforest.net/item/shoppica-premium-open-cart-theme/discussion/235470?page=31

You need to copy the
catalog/language/english/module/shoppica.php
to:
catalog/language/portuguese/module/
and then translate the text in it.

I did that the first time so the store front would show up in spanish, but now that the same problem is in the extensions, I don’t know where to put (or where is) the shoppica.php file that I have to copy in the spanish folder.

Hope for answer soon; thanks for your great support.
