On a site that just went live, I’ve noticed an empty entry under the information pages on the very left of the footer (screen shot attached). Stranger yet, it appears only on the front page. When viewed while on a product page for instance, it is not there and all is right. I’ve tried to located the source but something seems to be generating the list element with the “before” code to make the greater than symbol, but nothing else that should be in there. Also, all the correct pages are displaying, so the ghost is extra. I also checked the back end and even deleted all the information pages from that menu, but then the ghost just jumped to the next menu column over.
I’m at a total loss and am not even sure when this started, but it had to be recently. I would appreciate your taking a look since I think that’s the last thing before this site is complete.

Hi David,
Have you added some custom CSS or JS that might be the cause for this problem? We’ve analyzed the source of the web page and there is no empty list item.

About half an hour ago I figured it out, it was an unclosed <a> in an html text module. Thanks.
