Gift Voucher Problem with Opencart 1.5.1.3

Hi,

I’ve installed Shoppica theme to my site, and there are 2 problems that I found.

1. When I’ve created “Gift Voucher Code” , and I try to use the voucher to buy something, the system show “Success: Your gift voucher discount has been applied!” and show near the sub-total , but the value of it doesn’t show, it appears 0 (zero). You can check it at my site, http://www.jumbochoice.com , the testing gift voucher is “testing 45″.

I’ve tested with the clean install, it works well, so please advice me.

2. When I’ve tried to buy the gift voucher (just only gift voucher), it cannot continue when I click “check out” but if we but gift voucher with the other products, the process can be move on, why? and how to solve?

Hello I believe this weas fixed in the latest version of shoppicaand one was actually a bug in opencart, see this post for details:

I use the lastest version of Shoppica and the problem is still occured. The voucher cannot deduct.

For the second issue, I have already fixed it.

Unfortunatly testing it on your site says the voucher doesnt exist or has been used, i have just set up the same on my install though and it works perfectly. Sorry i can’t help anymore.

Yes i can confirm on your site it doesn’t work, is it possible that the mod you installed for facebook connect is causing the error?

@psntree, please give use more details about your site.
We need admin access to make some test. Also, did you modify any of the Shoppica templates yourself ?

Hi,

We checked the backend, but Shoppica doesn’t seem to break anything with gift vouchers. We, however, found this topic with somebody experiencing your problem:
