Help with a Fatal Error of Unclosed Slots

Hello, I have purchased this theme but unfortunately, it does not display price and href of products correctly on all modules that are available on the Page Builder, such as Featured Products, Latest Products, etc … all of them don’t display price and href correctly.

What I did, I checked the database and it is okay and not corrupted, so I thought this is a bug for the theme developer to fix. I debugged the error which I got all the time and they came from this file:

Fatal Error: You have unclosed slots : array ( 0 => 'internal_request.products', 1 => 'internal_request.products_listing', ) in /XXXXXXXXXXX/system/vendor/BurnEngine/library/ViewSlot.php on line 30
Please, check your script for errors.
Terminating sript execution.

PS: I did not modify any of the theme code. Other parts besides all modules came from the Page Builder are okay.

What to do? Pls help me to fix it.

Hi Chris,

You are the first one that reports such a problem and we will need the website url, admin and ftp access, so we can check.

You can use hidepost to share private information with the support staff.

Thanks for your reply, yes, I hope I would be the last one too :) . I noticed that one of the post topic also in Technopolis who was asking that the price and link did not display correctly. Well, it also happens to me at first, then I debugged and found the error mentioned above. Looking forward to your reply soon.

Hi TB,

i can understand u are a small company. But you have to understand that a customer cannot wait that long too. Especially when they don’t get any reply.

You have all the right to be ignorance. But I have the right to have my money back if I don’t get any support from you. I have not asked for a refund yet but I will if I do not hear news from you (it has been 4 days after my last reply and I cannot wait more). Are you able to support me or not?????

Your problem has not been ignored! It is true that most of the support issues take no more than a few days to get resolved, there are some that take a bit longer.

Hi,

we checked your installation. It took more time because you have custom hand made modifications to opencart core files, which conflicts with the theme’s expectations how the opencart code should behave.

Generally in such cases we mark the topic as ‘not a support question’. In your case we decided to fix the issue because of the long delay of the support. We had to modify the theme’s vqmod\xml\tb_compatibility.xml, so be careful if you have to overwrite it for some reason.

Many thanks for your reply and fix, I really appreciate it very much. Your will to fix and take further step more than you normally would do has made you a super star and therefore I would rate the best star on themeforest for you and your team.

My apology if I was sounded too pushy, it was due to my frustration. If only you could reply something at least just so I could know that you are still trying to find solution to fix it, maybe I could keep my patience.
