Hi First of all – fantastic theme. I can’t wait to see what you have done with V2! I would like to use your theme on my client’s website, however I only want my client to be able to access certain tabs in Shoppica Theme CP, such as Intro (and that is just so they can choose the product images they want to show) and not to see the other tabs. Is there a way of hiding the other tabs? Another solution would be to show random products on Intro instead of manually choosing them then they wouldn’t need to access the Shoppica Theme CP at all – result! I can then set the admin access rights to deny them access. There is an extension on the opencart site that hides the menu items when access is denied but it does not ‘drill down’ as far as tabs. Thanks robertjohn

Hi Robert, Unfortunately, there is no way to hide only some of the options for your customer and show them to you. At least not with some option from the theme control panel. The only thing you could do here, is to configure the shop, set the colors and then delete(or comment) the tabs, you don’t want to share with your customer. Best, |

Hi and thanks for the reply. Yep I could do that, however I have just made an extension that will add an additional Intro Type (Random Products) to the Intro configuration in the Shoppica Theme CP. This means that once I set this there is no need for further configuration and hence I can disable access (for the client) to the CP once I have built the site. See image attached. Any hints as to what and when Version 2 of this fantastic theme will offer? Cheers robertjohn

This is a really nice feature! You could share this one, if you want. We could add it in next Shoppica releases. As for the Shoppica 2 version; the new features are many. There will be for sure: multistore support, support for right to left direction languages, rebrandable admin panel, custom theme folder, mobile version, email template, template hooks and other cool stuff We’re sure everybody will be happy Best, |
