This topic has been marked as not resolved.

Hi,
I have added the Tabs/ accordion content module to “All products”, and have added 5 tab names.

When watching the product on the front end, it shows no other tabs than the “description” and “Review”.

Inside the product (admin) I have no option to add content to tabs.

I didn’t find any tutorial for actually use the tabs, only instructions how to set them up.

PS: If it is not possible to easily add different content to different products, what tabs do you suggest using?

I bought “Custom Product Tabs PRO” after your recommendation, but have not been able to use it. The XML file you ‘ve made for Pavilion (vqmod) does not work.

Hi,

Pavilion has an alternative of “Custom Product Tabs PRO” – Extra product fields. It is part of the theme and can be find under the “Extensions” panel in Theme CP.

Here is a tutorial, how to use this extension and update current tabs:

Is this what you are looking for?

Thank you.

Yes, and I have tried this. But didn’t get it to work.

Tested again now and get 3 textareas for each extra product field.

Testet thoroughly, and found that if I write anything in the third extra field, then it shows as a tab.

Any ideas why it loads 3 textareas in the product edit window?

Hi,

There seem to be some kind of problem if you see 3 textareas for each custom field. We will need admin and ftp access so we can check.

You can use hidepost to share private information with the support staff.

Thank you.
I have added the info below. (Site is live)

Tell me if you need access to the dB.

I’ve also checked now.

Removing the product_fields.xml and then clear all vqmod cache makes the product edit page looks normal. Adding the product_fields.xml creates 3 input textareas for each extra product field.

Hi,

The problem was with the product_fields.xml indeed. Generally, it has been resolved with the latest theme version.

We’ve uploaded the latest xml modification and the issue is now fixed, but it is recommended to update entire theme.

Thank you.

The tabs them selves didn’t work in front end product view, but the fix was just to deactivate the “minify js”, and then activate it again. Now it works excellent!

Thumbs up!

Hi,

If you don’t disable ftp access, we could take a look at the JS problem when defer and minify are set to ON.
