How do you change the title of the Welcome module that reads “Welcome to Your Store” ?
For instance on the Shoppica demo site it says “Welcome to Shoppica Store”.
I can change the rest of the text in the Welcome module but not the title.
Thanks

You can also open catalog/view/theme/shoppica/template/module/welcome.tpl and remove the title completely from the template.
i think the code you need to remove the Title is in the welcome_content.tpl not welcome.tpl

I have a variation on this question.
We are using the Welcome module to create custom html text boxes for various locations around our website. Having one Welcome to “my store” on the homepage is fine, I don’t want that title to appear on the custom html sidebars I am creating.
If you go to this page: https://www.cimetrics.com/products/b5001-bacnet-discovery-tool
and scroll down the page viewing the right sidebar, you will see an offer to join our newsletter, and you will see a Constant Contact created button that has been placed in a Welcome module and assigned to the right sidebar for pages designated as Product.
Is there a way to isolate the title for this specific box and change the “Welcome to “our store” to “Join our Newsletter”?
Is the only option to delete the title from the module code itself and then add a new title similar to the following:
Join our Newsletter
before adding the Constant contact script?

@rdhinman
Although we’ve kept the original code, the welcome module as provided by default doesn’t have any real world usage
The easiest thing to do here is to remove the built-in title and just put it from the rich text editor. Simple and clearer than any other detection
