I see on the test version of the site if I click “Add to cart” a pop up appears in the corner and tells you information and updates your cart. My site however does neither. After clicking update. The cart remains the same till the page has been refreshed. Only, then will it show changes.
I am curious as to if it is a setting I missed or if something else could be at fault.
I am running Opencart 1.5.1.2 and the only file I edited was the Footer.tpl.
If you need any more information I can provide it!

Hi,
The latest version of Shoppica should have this popup working fine. We haven’t had any other reports for such an issue until now.
We will need a little bit more information so we could help you.
Best,

I am running 1.5.12 as my version and just downloaded the Shoppica theme a less than a week ago. So I know I have the latest version. I installed the files through filezilla one at a time. I have not changed any code I have just worked with what was provided by your team.
I thought maybe it was a browser issue so I checked my site against the demo site on Chrome, Firefox and IE9. Your site worked fine but mine didn’t work on any of the browsers. I have no idea how I would have produced this bug.
Website: http://www.HeatPressDesigns.com/ If you click “Add to cart” on an item. it is not going to make a pop up and you must refresh to see cart changes.
I know my cart location is above the menu not on the same line. I changed that. Added categories, a few products and some regular changes like faveicon, logo, payment methods, shipping and whatnot.
I did edit the footer.tpl to remove links to the Extras panel. But I don’t think that would have caused the problem.
I removed all affiliate information. .tpls ect from the Shoppica folder.
I hope more information can help.
Also, I just realized my facebook section does not look like the demos. Strange.

So it was something in that footer.tpl ! wtf? all I did was remove the links to the Extras section and that broke the pop up. Crazy.

Hi,
Maybe you have broken the html in any way (an unclosed tag or something like that). This is a very possible reason for all the js working and only the notify boxes not.
Best regards,

Yeah, since i only changed the footer.tpl I uploaded the original and it fixed the problem. I must have messed up one spot. I have since re-edited the footer and no longer have the problem. Thanks for the help!
