Image fading problems

Glitch with fading images on Intro?

Setup:

Fresh install of OC 1.5.2.1
Shoppica 2 is the only additional module installed
Browser: latest FireFox, Safari or Chrome.

Shoppica Settings:

Into > Intro Type >Image Slideshow
Into > Rotation type > Fade

With the above configuration there’s an unfortunate visual glitch when fading between images.

Have a look at http://37.59.65.85/ and wait for the Intro images to change. It’s a ‘hiccup’ at the very final point of one image as it switches to the next – the ‘old’ image remains shown under the new for a second or so.

Also how do we alter the height on the image slideshow? Is it determined by the images themselves? And finally… where is the setting to adjust the ‘speed’ of the fade? i.e; the time each image remains on screen.

Hi Steve,

The problem comes from the images themselves.

When the images are cross fading they stay one under another. All the slides from the sample database are transparent pngs so there is no way to evade this overlap. If you use non transparent images, there won’t be any problems.
