hi,
first time opencart user here.

purchase the kiddos theme.

unzipped the folder.

copied the folder to my opencart root (i’m using Wamp in localhost)

I don’t see the theme in the settings of backend.

what am I doing wrong?

I followed the instructions here:

Hi,

Sorry for the inconvenience, but it seems we have put wrong documentation files (older ones) in the theme package. You can take a look at online docs, which are correct:

http://docs.themeburn.com/burnengine/

Kiddos is built over the BurnEngine framework, so this is what you will see and need to choose under Admin > System > Settings.

If you still has problems, we will need the website url, admin and ftp access, so we can check.

You can use hidepost to share private information with the support staff.

Hello,

Well, it doesn’t work. I completed a brand new opencart 2 installation and it still doesn’t work. Opencart is not recognizing your theme.

Please send me a zip of a complete installation and I will just paste it into my local server.

I it was live I would supply a url with access, but it’s on my Wamp server.

The complete installation is contained in your package from themeforest.net. Also, are you using OpenCart 2.2.0.0 ? If yes, Kiddos does not support it yet, as it was released short after we uploaded Kiddos on themeforest. We are 90% ready with compatibility update, which should be released in a few days. You could try with OpenCart 2.1.0.2 until we release the update.

If you are not using OC 2.2.0.0, can you please share a link to the wamp server you are currently using for local development, so we can install it and test Kiddos with it ?

yes. i’m using 2.2.0.0
So i will wait to your update.
does the installation look exactly as the demo or will I need to import a dump of the demo?

Hi,

Sample data looks the same as on the demo with the one difference that product images are replaced with those from the default OC installation.
