Hello Arman, We’ve just updated all our themes (incl. Shoppica). One of the fixes is about problems with sample data import. Can you please try to re-download the theme package from ThemeForest, upload new files and try to install sample data again? BR, |

Thanks BR, I did as instructed. The problem is now resolved for my OC v2 test site. I am also running a test site on the same server with OC v1.5.6.4. The problem still persists on OC 1.5 – just to be sure I am going to do a clean install of 1.5.6.4 and try again. The issue is not just failing to install theme sample data, some functions such as slider setup, extra field setup etc. just fails to load. Fonts do not get listed and can’t be changed … Thanks again |

Hi, Also, please answer my earlier question: Is there a way to copy the home page layouts v2-v5 ? – i.e. export setup and then import into another installation. I did not see the page layout export. The export of menus, style, fonts,… worked but I did not see the page layouts exported. Did I miss something? Regards |

Hello Arman, 1) The problem was with the sample database that was provided with the theme. It was not your fault at all. 2) Unfortunately you can only export/import all page builder data. Import is incremental – this means that non existing will not overwrite (remove) old records. E.g. if you have an about page in the builder and you import only a delivery page, the about (non existing) page will remain. BR, |

Hi I intend to use this template for a client’s project who loves your original demo. Although the products are very different to the demo I believe this will work. Additionally, I am thinking that with the use of the page builder one can make landing pages for different types of products presenting different layouts and showing specific categories offers etc. So, instead of home 2,3,4,5,… to have appliances, gadgets, etc That is why I need a way to create pages on the development server and just import them into the live server. For the moment, I am not so confident with the theme or page builder as you may imagine. But it will not take long to get my mind round it, perhaps with you help. Thank for all your help so far. Best regards |

Hello Arman, We are sorry about your frustration about product photos, but unfortunately we do not have the right to distribute them in the theme package. That is why we are using image that come with the OpenCart sample data. Practically Page Builder give you (almost) unlimited power to make customization to every single page in your store. So your idea about different layouts for different categories or types of products can be possible. As we’ve said in our previous post, importing pages is possible from the CP import tool. We will also add the option to transfer single pages in the upcoming update. BR, |
