ThemeBurn Support › Forums › OpenCart Themes › Pavilion OpenCart Theme › Installed Pavilion, but I can not choose it in "Settings". "ThemeBurn" is there though, not working

Hi, I have a Open Cart 1.5.6.4. All set up in a test environment of course. A copy of our main store. I unzipped the files on my computer, uploaded the “pavilion_v.2.0.2/OpenCart_v1.5.x/” files in the package. I edited the index.php so it says:
on line 220+ BUT in the documentation you write: “In OpenCart admin panel go to System › Settings › Store Edit › Store › Template dropdown and choose Pavilion” However I do NOT have “Pavilion” as a choice. But I have a choice called “ThemeBurn”. The HTML for the option is: I have tried to choose that, then activate the module* and see what happens. It then loads files from this location (when trying to see the store front) (catalog/view/theme/BurnEngine/). *I don’t have a module named “CP Pavilion” neither. I have a module called “BurnEngine”. When I install that I get the control panel of Pavilion. But it seams to not control anything. However hard to see when the theme is not loaded in the front store. Necessary CSS etc to form a beautiful front page is not there. It is just ordinary HTML without any needed extra. No bootstrap css loaded etc. So basically it looks like a What can be the cause of this? |

Don’t know exactly what you are seeing when you open the BE (BurnEngine ) control panel you should see.. (see attached image) If you got it running then maybe a quick look at http://docs.themeburn.com/pavilion/ will help. Good luck. Pavilion – just upgrades to using BurnEngine so you are definitely in the right place.

Hi, I am SO frustrated right now. I have tried to install Pavilion for 4 days. I’m pretty tech savvy. But I can’t understand why it will not load front end. I have followed the instructions to the dot. First: In the instructions you use the name “Pavilion”. (As in “Choose the theme Pavilion”) But it never uses this name in the store settings. Only “ThemeBurn”. So either your docs are not correct any more, or something is off with the install. However after clicking the install and edit of a module called “ThemeBurn”, I see the name Paviion as you have added earlier in your post (screen print). Second: It would be awesome to chat/ email some of you directly. I don’t want to put any sensitive information here (in the forum). This is a 1.6.4 that has earlier been 1.5.4 and have been upgraded using standard upgrading techniques. Step by step. |

Can’t edit the post. OC 1.5.6.4 is of course the version. Missed a “5″ the second to last post. |

Hi, Can we check the live website? We will also need admin and ftp access. Unfortunately, it is not possible to resolve such a problem only by screenshots. Pavilion 2.x runs on BurnEngine. You need to choose BurnEngine as a chose in store settings (it seems there are some wrong text in the documentation). In fact all our new themes will share the same engine for easier upgrade. You can use hidepost to share private information with the support staff. BR, |

Hi there, finally you chimed in I have tested with a brand new 1.5.6.4 install, and it fails too. So there must either be an error in the ThemeBurn Pavilion v2.0.2 OR be a requirement for the PHP that is not met (I have not seen any indication of those though. ) Then I have tried with a 1.5.6.4 install with the OLD Pavilion 1.2.10 for OpenCart 1.5.x and that almost works. It says that I have NOT done the required change in the index.php – but I have. Then there is an error telling: “The OpenCart root index.php file does not contain the BurnEngine initializaiton code. Please, refer to the corresponding documentation in order to resolve this issue.” That link in that documentation leads no where. Just seams very buggy this. However it might be a PHP version conflict. I really don’t know. |

Hi, We’ve checked your testing installation at /test164/ and managed to fix it. There were some newer/older theme version file overwrite that was breaking everything. You should now have a working Pavilion 2.0.2. You only need to install the module. Can you please confirm, everything is OK? BR, |
