Issues: White pace above the product image & Tags not showing on the sidebar

This topic has been marked as resolved.

Hi Team Support,

I have two issues regarding the Pavilion’s Minimal theme.

1. In the product page, the image is showing with some white space on the top of the image. Here is the screenshot http://postimg.org/image/3onilq7gd/. It is maybe because of the height and width ratio of the image. Can you provide me the suitable image ratio/dimension to eliminate the white space?

2. If the above issue is not caused by the image ratio/dimension, why is the image not re-sizing?

3. I have created few tags, but it is not showing on my “Blog Categories” sidebar. Here is the screenshot http://postimg.org/image/gpmxe495x/. There is not documentation about the stories feature, so i am not sure how it works.

Thank you in advance.

Hi,

OpenCart resize images in the following way:

- Resize the image to fit (same as background-size: contain) in the size you have set in Admin > System > Settings > Image.

- Fill the blank space with white [check example]

- OpenCart does not crop images

1 & 2) Best aspect ratio will depend on the images you have and the product type. If you do not want the white fill, you will either have to manually resize all your images before you upload them, or search for a third party extension that modify OC resize logic.

3) Go to Pavilion CP > Page Builder > Right column > System pages > Stories > Articles listing / Articles by tag and insert a Stories tags block, or modify the existing one (if there is).

HI ThemeBurn team,

Thanks for the earlier reply,

I have one more question, how can i remove ‘Brands’ & ‘Affiliates’ from the footer. I deleted it from the default theme’s footer.tpl, but it still showing, it seems like something from this theme is overwriting it. Would you please advice?
