Itemscope schema

Hi Has anyone here tried to use the schema.org itemscope/itemtype for Google rich snippets? I am doing some research in the possibility of using it on opencart. The thing is, this mod is to be done on the .tpl files and was wondering if the Shoppica team has any thoughts on it. Any help would be appreciated and any and all information will be aggregated and shared here for future use by the community. Thank you George	georgetatu
