Dear TB Support

Can you please see URLs of our landing page and give us any clues as to what is happening. We have also shared the link to our test installation – which works perfectly fine. We have been able to diagonise that the probem is in production DB as when production is pointed to test database, it works perfectly fine – meaning that codes for both test and production are working well but DB for production is not working fine.

We are asking here as this problem of animated circle gets created when Pavilion theme settings are abrubtly closed for whatever reason [say we are in bw Pavilion CP trying to change certain things when net connectivity goes off or some call comes and we exit without saving the last settings OR trying to do live preview] – where is it that it triggers a change in DB and hence causing this issue

This has occurred earlier too, however then we had simply cloned the database with which it was working. Since it is recurrence, we wanted to be sure whats happening as everytime we will not have luxury to recreate/clone DBs

Thanks

Hi,

We’re sorry, but totally unaware what the exact problem is. Can you please provide a step by step instruction?

kindly visit our URL’s listed here – you will see there is an animated circle that keeps on appearing – in the testing environment; whereas it should be look like the link given to production.

This issue has occured multiple times, and happens mostly when trying to make setting changes using Pavilion CP – this has made us very finicky of using your Pavilion CP ever – and without Pavilion CP, there is no reason why we continue to use the theme.

Please suggest a fix asap.

Hi,

The animated circle is not theme related, but rather is part from some third party extension you have installed (Store Locator Pro).

Note that each time this has occured, it occurs when we have Pavilion CP open and trying to do some setting changes – happened thrice in recent days. I am not sure where to go in case that module developer raises his hands up. We have not touched that module for ages now and hence not sure if it could be due to anything in that module.

I would still check with that module developer once.

additionally, let me add that we have not made any changes to template or php files – just playing with settings in Pavilion Control Panel is altering and breaking the DB – causing this problem

The module developer just replied that “script loading is missing” – this is despite the javascript folder very much there at the right path as we validated from our cPanel.

I have checked with the module developer, here is what he had to say
==================
- it looks like this theme do not use default methods for loading JS & CSS files [i.e. addscript and addstyle method calls]
- or theme rewrites content or
==================
he had first asked us to check if script loading is happening – we checked -the codes are present along with the relevant JS files required for this purpose.

Like we said, Pavilion triggers some DB changes / alters something which does not permit the module to function. You can still check – the landing page for our testing environment is still not in order and this is third recurrence before we complained to you.

Please help urgently.

Regards
