This topic has been marked as not resolved.

I enabled the Live Search functionality assuming that it’s some Ajax search functionality but nothing happens.

I checked the Demo here and I don’t see anything either: http://demo.themeburn.com/technopolis/1/

when i start searching “dell” . what does it do?

The Documentation just takes me to a blank page.

Hi,

We’ve now checked your website and the live search seems to work just fine. Which browser are you using? Can you try to clear the browser cache?

Hi there, I’m using Google Chrome. I cleared my cache and checke din incognito mode and nothing appears when i type the beginning of a product.

Can you tell me what you typed in the search box to get something to appear?

Okay I checked in Firefox, it works in firefox but not in Google Chrome.

most people use google chrome so ideally if there was some fix for this it would help a lot!

Hi,

The screenshot was taken from Chrome. There is a possibility that the problem comes from the search caching as it uses HTML5 local storage to reduce database queries. As you cleared cache have you checked:

- Cookies and other site and plugins data
- Hosted app data

We will make a more thorough check about the live of the hosted data, so there is no more missing searches.

Hi I’m sorry but this still doesn’t work in chrome across multiple devices. I cleared my cache and hosted app data.

I’ve also had friends check that have never visited the site say it doesn’t work for them either in chrome.
