ThemeBurn Support › Forums › OpenCart Themes › Pavilion OpenCart Theme › Mega Filter Pro – not able to import to Pavilion Theme
This topic has been marked as not a support question.
Dear Pavilion Support team We tried to follow the steps given here to import the module, however in the module blocks within pavilion, we cannot see the module. The module developer asked us to take it up with you. They also commented that it is because our Pavilion theme is old – we are using v1.1.0 http://support.themeburn.com/topic/mega-filter-pro-by-attribs-options-brands-price-filters Our question is why module being old should impact this as other modules can get imported into pavilion using the usual steps where we add tb_widgets in layout of the module and give it a unique sort value compared to all other layouts used. Alternately, in your view is there a limited pavilion upgrade – some specific files – that we can do. The pavilion theme is too large and overwhelming to do a complete upgrade and we are working with very limited IT resources. Hence entire Pavilion upgrade is a practical challenge. Hope you can guide us out. |

Hi, 1) MFP way of creating module instances is a bit different from the standard OpenCart steps (we don’t say it is wrong). That is why, we’ve added some compatibility improvements in Pavilion newer versions. 2) Unfortunately, there is no limited Pavilion update. 3) Generally, Pavilion update should only consist in copying newer theme files on your web server. You may also need to re-save theme settings. This is the case, if you haven’t modified theme files or templates. Of course, it is a good practice to always have a working file and database backup just for a case. BR, |

Hi Team, Can you share a log of these compatibility improvements or the list of this relevant files for compatibility improvements. We can perhaps just try to see if we can copy these over to our installation. Since we have a fair amount of customization done to the pavilion theme as also to our opencart installation, we are unsure if “Pavilion update should only consist in copying newer theme files on your web server. You may also need to re-save theme settings. This is the case, if you haven’t modified theme files or templates.” will work. The number of releases done bw 1.1.0 and current number [guess 1.2.5 etc] is just so many. Regards |
