Multiple questions/problems about BurnEngine

Hello We are very glad and happy you managed to fix our problem with the SEO links and are thankful for it! As the days passed we managed to gather a bunch of questions about the functionality of BE. I think the proper way is to gather as much as we can and post it in a single thread, not one by one. At the moment we are focusing on the “Header” and “Intro” of our shop, so lets get started: Questions: 1st – Is there a way to show a certain element only on the mobile version of the site (for example a banner) ? 2nd – Can you change the position of the 2nd level of a Menu. As you can see on “Picture-1″ we want the white dropdown part of the menu to be right next to the left blue part, BUT we want to keep the space between “Произведители” and the white border of the menu. Something like “Picture-2″ 3rd – Can you manage a single product or a couple of products through the Burn Engine. For example we want to add a button “Ask for price” for a desired products that do not have a price. (We know that there are specially designed extensions for that, BUT if the BE can do it we’ll be happy to save some money) Problems: 1st – We made the text on the banners to be shown only when we hover over it and on the desktop it is working perfectly, BUT when we test it on the mobile version of the site the text is always shown even if not clicked on it. See “Picture-3″. 2nd – When we activate the “Live search” the module is working, BUT when I hover or click on the search bar it automatically shrinks itself. On the Search module we add for Width – 0; Max width – 0; Min width – 150px ; “Picture-4″ is before we click or hover, “Picture-5″ is after we hover or click on the Search ( Because it is not allowing me to put anymore pictures I will add “Picture-4″ and “Picture-5″ in a comment to this thread bellow). If you need to enter into the FTP or the back-end you already got our information, BUT we changed our admin url to a different one for security reasons, everything else remains the same This reply was modified 2732 days ago by Kanisco. Hi, 1) Technopolis is a Bootstrap based theme, so you can use responsive utility classes: http://getbootstrap.com/css/#responsive-utilities There are some additional classes only for the (mobile) header. More information can be found here: http://docs.themeburn.com/burnengine/header/mobile/ 2) You need to: - Remove the left padding of the containing column - Swap menu “Spacing” with “Inner padding” http://i.imgur.com/onZY2pF.png 3) You can “tag” a product or many products using the OpenCart layout system and layout override: - Create a new layout with the `product/product` route – http://i.imgur.com/7zc6QXz.png - Use the “Layout override” option for each of the selected products – http://i.imgur.com/N5ytSny.png - Go to Page Builder > Content and edit the new layout 4) As touch (mobile) users don’t have a hover function, the text will be inaccessible.
