My Buttons have disappeared.. =[

ThemeBurn SupportForumsOpenCart ThemesShoppica OpenCart ThemeMy Buttons have disappeared.. =[

This topic has been marked as not resolved.

Perhaps I messed around with something..but the following buttons don’t appear anymore:

“Add to Cart” (on product page), “Continue” (on writing reviews), “Checkout”, “Update”

Btw, I found the “Continue” button as s_button_1..and the color was #FFF, and my wrapper is also #FFF. which normally isn’t a problem, but the button image no longer shows up so it appears as if it’s gone.

How can I make them show up again? Or if this is too vague, can you give me a couple tips to try and troubleshoot?

Hi,

We fear, that if you have modified the templates you said, the only thing to do is to overwrite with the original Shoppica files from the package.

If you don’t want to loose other changes in the pages, you could use a comparison program to see all the changes, row by row. Also this is the best solution, when updating a modified Shoppica store.

Alright great. I’ve downloaded Winmerge and am using that. One question though, if I overwrite with the original shoppica files in (Admin, Catalog, Cgi-bin, download, image, system, index.php, config.php) then will the data on my site be erased? For example all my categories, products, images, etc?

If so, is there a way to overwrite the files without touching my uploaded and inputted data?

If my info is untouched, then I will go ahead and overwrite and after do my modifications and reinstall my modules.

Please advise,
Dan

Hi Dan,

Overwriting files, won’t erase the information, which is stored in the database (categories, products etc). It won’t erase the products images either.

You will need to register in order to post topics and read replies in the ThemeBurn.com support forums!

P.S. It is always a good practice to make a complete database and file backup, before touching anything.

Best regards,
