Hi there,

I was wondering if you could assist me with the intro slideshow. I noticed that the intro slideshow is a Nivo Slider and was wondering how to change the default slider arrows [looks likes this:  http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q89/caseytraverse/nivo.jpg   notice the arrows in the green circles] to the black dots [looks like this:  http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q89/caseytraverse/1306003590nivoslider-700x700.jpg notice the black dots in the green circle]?

I need the dots to be centered on the far bottom like shown in the photo.

Thanks in advance for your help

Casey

Hi Casey,

The Intro slideshow is not a Nivo slider and unfortunately, it does not have this dotted paging navigation, you want.

If you wish you can use the default Slideshow module from the default OpenCart features. It is located in Admin -> Extensions -> Modules.

Hello,

I am sorry but slideshow.css says:

“/*
* jQuery Nivo Slider v2.5.2
* http://nivo.dev7studios.com
*
* Copyright 2011, Gilbert Pellegrom
* Free to use and abuse under the MIT license.
* http://www.opensource.org/licenses/mit-license.php”

Thats why I assumed it was a Nivo slideshow. Also in the folder Catalog/View/Theme/Shoppica/Image there is a file bullets.png that contains the dots so that is why I also assumed it has this function. Would you recommend that I disable the Shoppica Intro and add the Nivo slideshow module since this has the slideshow functions I am looking for?

Best regards
Casey

Hi,

It is up to you, which of the slideshows you will use. The Shoppica slideshow is more suitable for transparent images and the default slideshow is more universal. Everything depends on what you like more :)
