Can you provide us with ftp to the site you wish to upgrade ?

You can use hidepost to share private information with the support staff.

I can give you test/dev site but want upgrade fixed so I can make changes to live site.

Okay, give us test/dev site, so we can investigate safely without worrying about messing up the database.

Can you please create FTP account and share the credentials ? We do not need cpanel.

if you have cpanel you dont need ftp, or you can use code manager inside opencart (system>tools>code manager)

Sorry, but we cannot resolve the upgrade issue. It seems it is connected with the multistore, but is too entangled to be resolved within a reasonable time frame. The only option is to uninstall Pavilion 1 and install Pavilion 2 anew. You won’t loose any opencart data (products, categories, orders etc.), but you have to re-create your pages in the theme builder. Sorry for the inconvenience.

ThemeBurn team

So the big question is.. will it work with multi-store once it is installed from scratch?

June 8, 2016 at 6:54 pm #48504

Well obviously since this is a live site I am not going to uninstall and re-install on live server…

So question is.. how to do it on dev server then migrate changes to live?

I can copy entire serer to dev server..

Dont know how to “uninstall” pavilion theme.

Can re-install and setup…

Don’t know how to migrate to live without overwriting important portions of the live DB, I assume only a few tables will need to be moved but don’t know which those are..

1) The multistore will work once it installed from scratch. The issue affects multistore upgrade from Pavilion 1 > 2 only.

2) You can copy your live site to a dev server as you suggest. You should uninstall Pavilion and then install BurnEngine and set up your site

3) After you have finished, you can copy BurnEngine package to yor live server, uninstall Pavilion module and then install BurnEngine. Then you should import the following two tables from the dev server to your live site – oc_burnengine_setting and oc_setting

4) Your live site should have BurnEngine installed without loosing orders.

P.S. Don’t use the BurnEngine version we uploaded to your dev server as it contains some debug code, which can slow down your site. Use the themeforest package.

P.S.2 Even if you try the above steps, make database backups to prevent unconsidered issues.

kk tx, was expecting some DB changes… but new install does not seem to be working.. see other support requests… you can close this one since it covers my migration questions.
