Pavilion Review Widget Bug

Hi, apologies if this has been dealt with in another post.

I have created a page that lists recent product reviews using the themeburn widget latest reviews. However it appears that if the same product has more than one reviews, only the first review shows.

Let’s say product X is reviewed, this review shows up on the latest reviews page. If product X is reviewed again, only the first review shows. The new review is not added.

Has this bug been addressed and patched?

Hi Joel,

There is bug with latest reviews indeed. Thanks for spotting and reporting it. We’ve attached a quick fix. You just need to extract the archive to your store root folder.

Hi ThemeBurn,

I’ve applied the patch but I am still having the same issue unfortunately.

I have two reviews for the product ‘Custom Order’ one on 15/1/2016 and the other on 17/1/2016 but it still only shows one review per product rather than showing both reviews.

Hi James,

The “only one review per product” bug is an intentional behavior. The idea was not to flood the timeline with review from a single product only.

We will add this as an option for the next release.

That makes sense, thank you for the advice. If you could let me know via email when the next release is added and I will be able to use the reviews to show more than one product.
