Apologies if this is a bit obvious but I’m new to OpenCart anyway. We’ve just installed OpenCart 2.0 and purchased the Pavillion theme with a view of using one of the skins as a basis for the design of our site, but I can’t see where I choose the relevant skin. I had an initial problem with the module install throwing up an error, but I found another user with a similar problem and downloaded the same fix (http://support.themeburn.com/topic/error-when-installing-pavilion-cp-module) which seems to have resolved everything. Essentially I’m looking to replicated the Dark skin as seen on the ThemeForest/Envato Market, can someone explain where to choose this?

Hi, You will need to install some sample data as described here: http://docs.themeburn.com/pavilion/sample-data/ Sample data installation popup is available once you install Admin > Extensions > Modules > Pavilion CP module. You can always uninstall / install the module to get the popup to appear. BR, |

Thanks for the feedback, I already had some test products in the system but hadn’t used the import and now its not available. Ah sorry misread it, will try and see what happens.

I’ve just tested as you recommended and have a couple of points to note. I created multiple stores to be able to test each theme – essential creating a store for each theme. However in doing so I noticed that the option “Do not import” when selected on a store seems to reset the store theme to the default, unstyled, rather than leaving it as whichever theme was chosen previously. This worries me because if we ever need to set up an additional store and set it up with a theme, because any custom color changes will get overwritten and lost. Is there a fix available for this? |

Hi, We will check the problem you have described. Unfortunately, we cannot provide a quick fix right now, as this issue requires more detailed testing. Hopefully we will provide a solution with the next update. BR, |

Hi, We’ve tested the described behavior and cannot confirm the bug. Our steps: 1) Install OpenCart 2) Install theme and import default design (Default store) 3) Add a new store (Store 1) 4) Default store -> Do not import, Store 1 -> Dark design 5) Add new store (Store 2) 6) Default store -> Do not import, Store 1 -> Do not import, Store 2 -> Stylish design If you’ve done something different, please let us know. Thanks, |
