Hello, when I insert an image in a text block and then re-size it within the text block, the image quality becomes very poor. My image quality within the sliders and other places is good. Could someone please help with this? Thank you!

Hi,
Are you using OC 2.0? We’ve recently fixed a bug that was inserting thumbs instead of real size images.
If this is your case, you will need to update up to the latest Pavilion version (1.2.5).

Hi,
Yes, I am using OC 2.0.1.1 and Pavilion v1.2.4.
I checked my “downloads” folder in my envato account and it only shows the Pavilion theme that I believe I already downloaded. It does not specify that it is v1.2.5 – just says v1.2.
How do I upgrade? Do I need to download the entire theme again, or just an upgrade fix? Does everything I’ve already done move over automatically in the upgrade?

Hello,
I have upgraded to Pavilion 1.2.5 and I still have the same issue with poor quality images in the Text blocks as well as in the Gallery blocks. Images are set at 100 x 100 px when inserted and when I try to enlarge them they become distorted with very poor quality.
How do I fix this??

Hello, could someone please respond to this? I’m trying to finalize my website this week and this is a major stumbling block. Why didn’t my theme upgrade to 1.2.5 fix the issue?
I’ve found this issue is also in Stories when I try to add images to the story text layout. The main image for the story is fine. Same issue – the image is automatically set at a thumbnail size 100×100 and stretching makes it warped and poor quality. So now, I’ve seen this issue in:
- Text blocks
- Stories
- Gallery blocks

Have you re-uploaded all theme files? We cannot see some of the changes that come with Pavilion 1.2.5 (the fix for this image insertion bug).

Hi, we downloaded the files again and re-installed and the bug was fixed. Thanks! However, now I’m having an issue where I can’t add any new images to my Fire Sliders. I’ll start a new topic for this.
