Hello,

I use Shoppica for my online store and I have English and Bulgarian as languages.

I want to fully translate the theme files in Bulgarian.

I uploaded the them translations directory “catalog/language/bulgarian/shoppica2″, and I translated the file global.lang.php in Bulgarian, but when I save it and when I upload it in the folder the site loads normally but I get the following error when I click on “Profile” for example:

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/trymax/public_html/store/catalog/language/bulgarian/shoppica2/global.lang.php:1) in /home/trymax/public_html/store/vqmod/vqcache/vq2-system_engine_controller.php on line 37Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/trymax/public_html/store/catalog/language/bulgarian/shoppica2/global.lang.php:1) in /home/trymax/public_html/store/vqmod/vqcache/vq2-system_engine_controller.php on line 38

It is only if the slugs are translated in Bulgarian. If the file is in English, everything works fine.
Is it possible to be something of the Cyrillic encoding or…?

Please help…

Hi!

Your issue is very likely due to encoding problems. As stated here:

You should save all of the files you edit with the following encoding: UTF-8 without BOM signature. This should be a setting to choose in your prefered editor.

You can check this and this post for more information on the topic.

Please, check if this helps.

Regards,
ThemeBurn team
